NXT’s Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and Shotzi Blackheart were all part of dark matches yesterday before Smackdown went on the air according to PWInsider.com.

This was Kross’ third TV taping in a row where he wrestled before the powers that be. He also wrestled on Main Event this week, taking on Shelton Benjamin.

His real-life girlfriend and manager Scarlett and former NXT Women’s Tag Team champion Shotzi Blackheart also had a match against each other before Smackdown ahead of a potential call up to the main roster.

Last week, NXT North American champion Bronson Reed had a dark match and also wrestled on Main Event, taking on Drew Gulak.
