NXT stars to take on WWE stars in exhibition matches on undercard for John Cena’s final event

During last night’s opening segment of Raw with John Cena, it was announced that the undercard for the December 13 Saturday Night’s Main Event would be filled of exhibition matches pitting WWE stars vs NXT stars.

Cena made the announcement himself and said it’s a way to give back to fans and give an opportunity to the future of the industry to share the spotlight on an important night for him.

It’s unclear how many matches will be held but the last Saturday Night’s Main Event had only four matches in a two hour show. Unless the show is stretched to three hours and considering Cena will get all the time in the world for the post-match speech, chances are there won’t be a lot of NXT stars who will be able the shine in the nation’s capital.

Some tickets remain available for the show through Ticketmaster.com although the cheapest price to get in is $424 plus fees.
