WWE is bringing back the TLC premium live event concept, but this time it will be for the NXT brand.

NXT TLC will be held on Saturday, December 12 live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and will replace the Deadline PLE which typically takes place in December.

New number one contenders for both the NXT and NXT Women’s titles are usually decided in the Iron Survivor Challenge held at Deadline, with winners cashing in at the New Year’s Evil episode of NXT in the first week of January.

It looks like these number one contender matches will now be decided in TLC matches, a concept which is rarely used in NXT.

WWE has not used TLC as a PLE name since December 2020.
