NXT and TNA unite for Showdown live tonight on The CW

The much-hyped NXT/TNA Showdown will be taking place tonight live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Originally called Invasion, the name was eventually changed to Showdown out of respect for the victims of the October 7, 2023 invasion of Hamas in Israel.

Four matches are on the card for tonight, including two title matches and two Survivor Series-style elimination matches.

In the men’s elimination match, Team NXT will consist of NXT champion Ricky Saints, TNA champion Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Myles Borne as they take on Team TNA with #1 contender for the TNA title Mike Santana, Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and TNA X Division champion Leon Slater. Joe Hendry will be the referee for the match.

In the women’s elimination match, Team NXT has NXT Women’s champion Jacy Jayne, NXT Women’s North American champion Sol Ruca, Jaida Parker, and Lola Vice against Team TNA with TNA Knockouts champion Kelani Jordan, TNA Knockouts Tag Team champions The IInspiration, and Mara Sade.

Plus, The Hardys take on DarkState in a winners-take-all match for both the NXT and TNA Tag Team titles and Ethan Page defends the NXT North American title against Mustafa Ali.

NXT/TNA Showdown airs tonight live on The CW at 8PM ET and on Netflix everywhere else.
