NXT 2.0 kicks off tonight on USA with new NXT champion to be crowned

The revamped NXT, or NXT 2.0 as it is being referred to, will start with a bang on USA Network as the fatal four-way match originally announced as a number one contender’s match has now changed into an NXT title match where the winner will become the new NXT champion.

With Samoa Joe out injured and surrendering the title on Sunday, Tommaso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, LA Knight and Kyle O’Reilly will now face each other for higher stakes tonight. Only Ciampa is a former NXT champion while Dunne was the WWE UK champion.

The live broadcast will also feature the wedding of Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell in what will be the first wedding segment on NXT television. Wrestling weddings never go according to plan and this one has the possibility of a train wreck as well!

The Capitol Wrestling Center inside the WWE Performance Center was given a complete overhaul as NXT begins a new era – a brighter, more colorful era – in hopes of attracting young viewers.
