NJPW star Tama Tonga on his way to WWE

Multiple industry insiders are reporting that NJPW star Tama Tonga has finished with the Japanese promotion and is heading to WWE.

The 41-year-old Tonga has spent the last 14 years working for NJPW where he was one of the founding members of the popular Bullet Club. He held the IWGP Tag Team title seven times with his tag team partner and brother Tanga Loa, the NEVER Openweight title on four different occasions, and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team title four times.

Tonga was adopted by his maternal aunt and her husband, former WWE and WCW star Haku/Meng.
