Nigel McGuinness missing shows due to birth of baby daughter

NXT and 205 Live commentator Nigel McGuinness missed the 205 Live and NXT tapings this week due to the birth of his daughter Amelia.

McGuinness worked the NXT Takeover: New Orleans show on the eve of WrestleMania but skipped the 205 Live show from New Orleans a few days later and the subsequent NXT television tapings at Full Sail University.

“Thanks to everyone for the congrats and well wishes. And to everyone at WWE for their understanding and support. Feel truly blessed,” McGuinness wrote on Twitter.

The former ROH and TNA star will take the next week off as well and will resume his WWE commentary duties with the April 24 episode of 205 Live.
