Nick Khan talks WrestleMania ticket prices and confirms 43 in Saudi Arabia

WWE President Nick Khan admitted that WrestleMania ticket sales are softer this year than the previous year, but the company is still hoping to achieve last year’s gate revenue as the dip in sales will be offset by a higher-priced tickets.

“We’re feeling good,” Khan told The Sporting Tribune. “Last year we set records, which we set the year prior to that. So this year we think it’s going to get close to that record, but fingers crossed.”

Khan doubled down that “the marketplace dictates the ticket price,” mentioning that ticket scalpers usually re-sell their tickets at a higher price.

The WWE President also confirmed that WrestleMania 43 is still scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia despite the problems in the region lately.

“We’re doing WrestleMania next year in Saudi,” Khan said. “First time ever, WrestleMania will be outside the United States or Canada. And we’ve had a big, fruitful partnership with them.”
