New WWE Network shows to air in lead up to 2021 Royal Rumble

WWE today announced several new Network shows that will serve as the countdown for the 2021 Royal Rumble.

On Sunday, January 17, WWE: Untold: AJ Styles’ Royal Rumble Debut will air with Styles and other individuals looking back at AJ’s surprise debut at the 2016 Rumble.

The Best of WWE: Attitude Era Royal Rumble Matches will air on Tuesday, January 19, hosted by Matt Camp from The Bump as he looks back at the Royal Rumble matches that defined one of WWE’s most beloved eras. On Friday, January 22, competitors from various Rumble matches will be reliving the men and women’s 2020 Royal Rumble matches in a new episode of WWE Playback.

A brand new documentary on Pat Patterson, the man who created the Royal Rumble, will air on Sunday, January 24, and so will a new episode of WWE Chronicle, this time focusing on Bianca Belair and her Rumble debut at the 2020 event.

On Tuesday, January 26, Matt Camp will host a compilation episode of The Best of WWE: Royal Rumble Matches of the 2010s and then on Wednesday, January 27, a roundtable with Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Nia Jax and Mickie James will air discussing the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble match from 2018.

The final show leading up to the Rumble will be a new episode of The Day Of focusing on Batista’s return at the 2014 Rumble with never-before-seen footage from that night including his reaction to the WWE fans’ hostile reaction after he won.
