One half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Natalya underwent surgery to fix an injury she suffered in her leg last week on Monday Night Raw. The surgery was done in Birmingham, Alabama at the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center.

“Today my surgeon told me that I’m an anomaly. All I asked was to be put back in the fight and FAST. Surgery will fix me, defending our championships will drive me,” she wrote in a post on social media.

Natalya did not reveal the exact type of injury she suffered. The incident happened when Natalya and Tamina were wrestling Eva Marie and Doudrop and the match went to a quick finish after Doudrop appeared to fall on Natalya’s leg.
