McIntyre suffering from food poisoning, misses weekend live events

PWInsider.com is reporting that Drew McIntyre was pulled from the weekend non-televised live events as he is suffering from a bad case of food poisoning.

The Scotsman was able to soldier through Friday’s Smackdown thanks to IV treatments but was sent home immediately after his segment to rest.

Braun Strowman replaced McIntyre in his scheduled matches on both Saturday and Sunday in Stockton and Fresno. On both occasions, Strowman teamed up with The New Day to take on The Usos and Solo Sikoa.

The former WWE champion also missed a few non-televised shows over the past few months due to back pain. Those back problems remain to this day but McIntyre has continued to work though discomfort.
