Matt Hardy “counting down” days to end of his WWE contract

Matt Hardy has been counting down the days till the end of his WWE contract on Twitter with eight more days to go.

Matt, however, has been toying with wrestling fans on his social media but has not said what’s going to happen at the end of his countdown. He did say that he showed he’s capable of surviving outside WWE’s comfort walls and with many Superstars leaving WWE to find opportunities elsewhere, it wouldn’t be surprising if Matt decides to go that route.

Negotiations between WWE and the Hardy brothers have been ongoing as they would like to keep both Matt and Jeff around. Matt has not wrestled in several months and even tried his hand at producing backstage but made sure to say that he has not retired.
