Lilian Garcia was supposed to pull double duty this past weekend, announcing Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution, but she fell ill on Sunday and could not make it to the show.

“I was so excited to be announcing @wwe Saturday Nights Main Event and @wwe Evolution this weekend but because of lingering effects of a respiratory infection I got some weeks ago, I was only able to announce SNME last night before my voice started wigging out,” Garcia wrote in a post on social media.

Raw ring announcer Alicia Taylor replied Garcia for the premium live event yesterday, with Garcia thanking her for stepping up to do the show.

Garcia added that she was excited to celebrate all the women involved.
