Lex Luger announced for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025

WWE today announced that Lex Luger will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025.

Luger was surprised while training with Diamond Dallas Page by WWE champion Cody Rhodes in a video which was shot on February 19.

“On behalf of WWE, we would like you to be part of the 2025 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame,” Cody said as a beaming Luger replied with, “Wow!”

Luger, who is in a wheelchair, is training with DDP to be able to walk again and was able to stand up from his wheelchair on his own to give Cody and DDP a big hug. He has hoped to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for a very long time.

“Lex Luger has overcome challenges his whole career. Not only a champion in WCW and an incredible @WWE Superstar, but he has overcome challenges in life that are truly inspirational. He will now take his place as a member of the 2025 #WWEHOF,” Triple H wrote in a post on X.

Luger started his career in 1985 and has wrestled for JCP/WCW, WWE, and TNA. He is a former two-time WCW World champion, former two-time WCW TV champion, former five-time WCW U.S. champion, and three-time WCW Tag Team champion.

He joins Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Michelle McCool in the 2025 HOF class so far.
