Last Smackdown on SyFy airs tonight as show moves to USA Network

The final Smackdown of 2015 tonight also happens to be the final Smackdown on SyFy as from next Thursday, the blue show moves to USA Network permanently.

Smackdown premiered on SyFy on October 1, 2010, after WWE ended its agreement with MyNetworkTV. The LA Times reported at the time that SyFy paid $30 million to have the show moved to its network after a two year run on MyNetworkTV.

Smackdown aired periodically on USA Network since it moved to SyFy, mostly for live specials on Tuesdays. The show will remain being taped on Tuesday nights and will retain its Thursday 8PM time slot.
