Konnan to induct Rey Mysterio in the WWE Hall of Fame

Rey Mysterio will have his longtime close family friend Konnan induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame according to a story published on the Los Angeles Times.

The addition of Konnan had to be approved by WWE as inductees are allowed to choose whoever they want to induct them but WWE still has to sign off on it. Not everyone gets their wish obviously, but the 48-year-old lucha legend got his.

Konnan only has a very short history with WWE, working for them for only a year ax Max Moon back in 1992. He is obviously another legend in the ring, having worked for WCW, Impact, AAA, AEW and many others.

Rey Mysterio was the first inductee announced for the Hall of Fame Class of 2023 this past Friday on Smackdown.

The ceremony takes place on Friday, March 31 following the conclusion of Smackdown from the Crypto.com Arena.
