Kofi Kingston makes WWE history

Kofi Kingston became the longest-reigning Tag Team champion in WWE history with a total of 954 cumulative days with the title.

Kingston surpassed Billy Gunn, who had the previous record of 953 days with title reigns as part of The Smoking Gunns, The New Age Outlaws and Billy & Chuck.

Throughout his WWE career, Kofi won the Tag Team titles for a total of eight times, five of which came with The New Day. His other three title reigns came with R-Truth, CM Punk, and Evan Bourne.
