Kairi Hojo receives new WWE name, to enter Mae Young Classic

Japanese female wrestling sensation Kairi Hojo announced in a video message played at the WWE live event in Tokyo today that she will be part of the Mae Young Classic tournament which starts filming next month.

In the video, Hojo also revealed her new name of Kairi Sane and said she will be representing Japan in the 32-women tournament. The 28-year-old has been living in Orlando for the past couple of weeks and has already started training at the WWE Performance Center.

Sane, along with Io Shirai, are the two latest Japanese superstars to be signed to a WWE deal. Shirai is considered to be one of the best women wrestlers on the planet.
