Johnny Knoxville returns on Smackdown, gets attacked by Sami Zayn

Johnny Knoxville returned on Smackdown last night to challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental title but the night did not end well for the Jackass star.

Knoxville and Zayn have been embroiled in a feud since before the Royal Rumble and it was Zayn who eliminated Knoxville from the Rumble match. A few days later, Zayn crashed the Jackass Forever red carpet party and now it was Johnny’s time to crash Sami’s championship celebration.

After Zayn refused Knoxville’s challenge, he started to leave the ring but only to turn around and attack him. By the time the segment was over, Knoxville was on the receiving end of two Helluva kicks by Zayn.

The current working plan is to have Sami Zayn defend the Intercontinental title against Knoxville at WrestleMania 38.
