John Laurinaitis back heading up the WWE talent relations department

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that John Laurinaitis has been promoted to lead the talent relations department in WWE again, giving him the title of General Manager, Talent.

In his new role, Laurinaitis will be reporting to WWE Executive Vice President of Operations Brad Blum.

This is his second stint heading up the talent relations department and spent eight years in that position from 2004 to 2012. He moved to a producer role after he stepped down from the position in 2012.

Laurinaitis has been working for WWE since 2001 and came from WCW after the company purchased it from AOL Time Warner.
