During the Royal Rumble post-show, John Cena declared himself for the Elimination Chamber which will take place next month in Toronto and vowed to win it to go on to main event WrestleMania.

Cena said that he is going for the record-breaking 17th world title and will be doing this not just for himself, but for the individual he will shake the hand of when they break his record whenever that may be.

Cena noted that he never used his “power” for a spot he earned and he knows there are different perspectives about his path coming here but Las Vegas is his last WrestleMania and the last time he main evented WrestleMania was in 2013.

“After 23 years of loyal service, I earned this,” Cena said, adding that he’s always done what’s best for business and what’s best for business now is he main events WrestleMania and can confidently say he is going to win the 17th championship.

Cena announced he’s going back to Hungary to film a movie and will let his five other opponents slag him off for not being there.

“It is time to walk that talk and be who I say I am,” Cena concluded.
