WWE is teasing a Joe Hendry appearance on NXT tonight with his head swivel clip being included in the latest commercial to hype tonight’s show.

Today’s episode of NXT on USA will deal with the fallout from Heatwave, a premium live event which ended with Hendry’s face.

As the show came to a close and the trademark graphic was displayed on the screen, the show faded to the video of Hendry turning around instead of fading to black.

“WWE just said my name,” Hendry wrote on X replying to the video.

The Scottish star has been on a meteoric rise over the past few months and his NXT appearance last month was cut short when he was eliminated first – and quickly – from the battle royal.

Shawn Michaels expressed huge interest in woking with Hendry again and it seems like he got his wish.
