WWE said his name and he appeared! TNA star Joe Hendry was the mystery partner of former NXT champion Trick Williams in the main event match against new NXT champion Ethan Page and Shawn Spears.

WWE had been teasing a Hendry appearance since Sunday, when his face closed the NXT Heatwave broadcast. He was also inserted into the commercial shown on Raw hyping up NXT.

“Number one on the charts. Number one in your hearts. Joe Hendry is back on #WWENXT,” WWE’s X account wrote.

The Scottish star picked up the win following a chokeslam on Spears.
