Jinder Mahal signs new five-year deal with WWE

ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that former WWE champion Jinder Mahal signed a new WWE deal that will keep him with the company for the next five years.

Mahal had a fantastic 2017, becoming the first-ever WWE champion of Indian descent, keeping it for six months before losing it to AJ Styles in Manchester, England during Smackdown tapings.

Mahal joins Mojo Rawley, Mike and Maria in re-signing with the company over the past couple of weeks. With All Elite Wrestling ready to pounce on talent, WWE is doing their best to keep its Superstars under contract and extend deals to those which are close to running out.

The next big test is trying to keep The Revival and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, all of whom will have contracts expiring in the next couple of months.
