While odds for Backlash will flip-flop several times by the time tomorrow night rolls around, it’s interesting to note that Jinder Mahal is currently the favorite to win the WWE title from Randy Orton.

Odds on different websites differ however as of right now, everything seems to point to a new WWE champion. Sky Bet is offering 1/16 bets on Mahal winning his first WWE title while Orton is at 7/1 to retain and Paddy Power is pricing Mahal at 1/25 with Orton at 17/2. With those odds Mahal is the overwhelming favorite.

During his two stints with WWE, the 30-year-old Mahal has never won a title and it was only after his trade to Smackdown during the Superstar Shake-up that he was shot to the main event spotlight.
