Jim Ross meeting with NFLPA officials for possible WWE/NFL deal

FOX Sports is carrying an article about a possible partnership between WWE and NFL which would see the cut NFL players trying out for WWE.

Jim Ross, who was in charge of WWE’s talent for several years, is meeting with the NFL Players Association officials today in Washington, D.C., to pitch the idea.

“Everybody doesn’t make the 53-man roster,” Ross told co-host Jim Miller and me Tuesday night on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “Some guys are going to be looking for work, and we’ve got some job openings. Maybe we can put the synergies of those two entities together and create something wonderful some day.”
