Jey Uso becomes number one contender for World Heavyweight title

Main Event Jey Uso became the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight title held by Damian Priest after he won a fatal four-way match last night on Raw.

Uso defeated Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, and Bronson Reed in a very good match which saw the interference of CM Punk coming out from under the ring to distract McIntyre, allowing Uso to pin him.

Although it wasn’t specified when Uso will be getting the title shot, it’s highly likely coming at the upcoming Backlash premium live event from Lyon, France, at the beginning of next month.

This is Uso’s first shot at another major singles title since his program with his cousin Roman Reigns at SummerSlam last year.
