Je’Von Evans injured during Raw, match called off

The match between Je’Von Evans and El Grande Americano on Raw yesterday was cut off early after the match was stopped by the referee following an injury to Evans.

The Young OG was checked by a doctor at ringside and after Raw came back from a commercial, the bell rang, with the match awarded to Americano because Evans was unable to continue.

He was helped to the back by the referee and the doctor and he kept holding his right arm and shoulder while walking.

But PWInsider.com is now reporting that the match was actually stopped due to a possible concussion, although Evans was later cleared to travel back home with the rest of the crew.

It’s unclear when the injury happened throughout the match as Evans hit a springboard clothesline before the show went to commercial and then the bell was rang when Raw returned.
