Jason Jordan promoted to Lead Producer at WWE

PWInsider.com is reporting that Jason Jordan has received a nice promotion in WWE and is now the Lead Producer for the main roster television shows.

Jordan transitioned to a backstage role, working mostly as a producer, after his in-ring career came to an end due to injuries. Since then, the 32-year-old has excelled in his job and was rewarded for his hard work. The position was previously occupied by John Laurinaitis, who now moved to the top position in the Talent Relations department.

Speaking of the Talent Relations department, WWE referee John Cone has also been promoted and is now serving as the deputy for Laurinaitis. Cone was removed from his senior manager role last week and was demoted to his regular WWE referee duties but that decision was reversed a few days later after several spoke up of the great job Cone was doing in the department. Cone also remains as a referee.
