Jacy Jane wins the TNA Knockouts title

Jacy Jayne became the first-ever TNA Knockouts and NXT Women’s champion after she defeated Masha Slamovich last night at Slammiversary in a winner-takes-all match.

The match had interference from Jazmyn Nyx, Fallon Henley, Xia Brookside, and Lei Ying Lee but they canceled each other out after the four of them brawled through the crowd, leaving Jane and Slamovich alone.

Slamovich had the match seemingly won but the referee was out after a ref bump, or a superkick in this case. Jayne won the match after she hit her Rolling Encore finisher.

Her win leaves an interesting scenario as now both the TNA World title and the TNA Knockouts title are controlled by NXT stars, with Trick Williams retaining the title in a triple threat match in the main event of the show.
