Hiromu Takahashi unveiled in Smackdown vignette, now going by the name of Kyoki

Hiromu Takahashi has been officially revealed as Shinsuke Nakamura’s new tag team partner last night on Smackdown and will be going by the name of Kyoki from now on.

The reveal came during a vignette after Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga retained the WWE Tag Team titles on Smackdown, with the Japanese stars now eyeing the titles.

“I am Kyoki. After spending years competing around the world, finally I have arrived to WWE,” Kyoki said in the video. “Champions, legends, monsters, I don’t care. The stronger they are, the more fun I have. More fights. More gold. More madness.”

Takahashi’s involvement was strongly hinted in the vignette which aired last week, even showing his silhouette.

The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion has not wrestled since February of this year when he had his last match for New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
