Eddie Kingston pulled from AEW Continental Challenge Cup tournament, replacement announced

There has been a change in the AEW Continental Challenge Cup tournament as Eddie Kingston has been taken off due to an injury.

Kingston was supposed to wrestle Claudio Castagnoli on tonight’s episode of Collision but that match has been scrapped and The Death Riders member will get a new opponent instead.

On ROH’s Death Before Dishonor yesterday, Daniel Garcia defeated Adam Priest to earn a spot in the tournament replacing Kingston, so his involvement in this tournament will come just 24 hours after winning.

The play-in match between Garcia and Priest was announced just before Death Before Dishonor went on the air.
