Hardy and Orton advance to World Cup tournament

Two more individuals have qualified for the World Cup tournament at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view.

Last night on Smackdown, Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe and Randy Orton beat The Big Show to advance in the tournament, joining John Cena and Kurt Angle. Four more WWE Superstars need to be added to round up this 8-man tournament.

Meanwhile, the returning Rey Mysterio will have his chance to join the tournament next week when he wrestles the U.S champion Shinsuke Nakamura on the Smackdown 1000 broadcast.
