John Cena’s final opponent will be former WWE World Heavyweight champion Gunther.

Gunther overcame LA Knight on Smackdown last night in the final match of The Last Time Is Now tournament and now has the honor of being Cena’s last dance partner.

The Austrian star went through Je’Von Evans in the first round, Carmelo Hayes in the quarter final, and Solo Sikoa in the semi final while Knight defeated Zack Ryder in the opening round, The Miz in the quarter final, and Jey Uso in the semi.

This will be Gunther’s second involvement in a farewell match this year. The popular star was already chosen to be Goldberg’s final opponent a few months ago, a match which he won.
