Gunther confirms signing new WWE deal

Appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show yesterday, current WWE World Heavyweight champion Gunther confirmed that he signed a brand-new WWE contract at the end of last year.

Asked by Helwani if he considered going anywhere else before he signed, the Austrian replied with a no.

“Nothing else is really…no,” Gunther said. “How could I? Like, I think I saw that statistic recently like since I signed in 2019, I’ve been champion 85 or 90%, or something like that. So, obviously, they always saw me in a certain way and give me that trust. And I enjoy that.”

The champ also revealed that as part of his new contract, he now gets his own tour bus as well, saying that he made a request for it and it was approved.

Quite a few WWE Superstars, including the likes of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Seth Rollins, have their own bus.
