Glenn “Kane” Jacobs appears on Smackdown from Knoxville

WWE Hall of Famer Kane returned on Smackdown last night to host Bianca Belair’s homecoming celebration in Knoxville.

Glenn “Kane” Jacobs, who is the mayor of Knoxville, introduced Belair to the hometown crowd and presented Belair with the key to the to their county. He told Belair that after she wins the title at Extreme Rules, she has to come back to Knoxville where they will have a huge celebration in her honor. Prior to the show, Jacobs also presented Bianca Belair with a proclamation from the Tennessee Senate.

Obviously, with this being a homecoming, someone had to interrupt and beat up the babyface, so Becky Lynch came out and made fun of Belair and yes, beat her down to end the segment on a downer.

Kane’s last appearance for WWE was at the Hall of Fame this year and his subsequent appearance at WrestleMania.
