Florida Governor Ron DeSantis booed at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appeared in front of the live crowd at the Yuengling Center last night at Saturday Night’s Main Event before the show went on the air on NBC.

DeSantis, who was there with his family and bodyguards, received a frosty reception and chants of “you suck” from the Tampa crowd.

He accompanied his kids to ringside for some photos in front of the ring and then returned to the back to massive boos from his own people.

DeSantis was instrumental in allowing WWE to continue operations during the COVID-19 pandemic by labeling them as “essential business,” enabling them to continue to operate freely within the WWE Performance Center during lockdown.
