First two matches for next week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event announced

With the show just 11 days away, the first two matches for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event were announced last night.

WWE World Heavyweight champion Gunther will be defending his title against Jey Uso while Intercontinental champion Bron Breakker defends his gold against Sheamus. Sheamus got his match after he defeated Ludwig Kaiser on Raw yesterday.

This is the second Saturday Night’s Main Event following its revival last month. Four shows, one per quarter, will be held throughout each year with next week’s show serving as the Q1 show.

Saturday Night’s Main Event takes place from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Over 10,000 tickets have been sold already. The cheapest available tickets are at $64 on Ticketmaster.com.
