Three NXT stars – two men and one woman – advanced to the Iron Survivor Challenge match yesterday on NXT on CW.

Sol Ruca defeated Cora Jade in the surprise of the night, winning her match with the Sol Snatcher finisher which she executed perfectly.

Former NXT North American champion Wes Lee advanced by beating Cedric Alexander and then Je’Von Evans defeated Lexis King to move on.

More matches will be taking place next week and throughout the rest of the month leading up to Deadline.

The two Iron Survivor Challenge matches will pit five men and five women in a 25-minute match and the ones with most points are declared winners.

The winners will receive a title shot at a future date.
