Familiar faces return for AJ Styles’ retirement speech

A lot of familiar faces were brought in for AJ Styles’ retirement last night on Raw.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, his former Bullet Club tag team partners and associates in WWE, were shown arriving and welcomed by Michin, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.

Former TNA champion Frankie Kazarian was shown walking backstage and opened a “boiler room” door to find Abyss, now known by his real name of Chris Park and a WWE producer.

Styles’ former tag team partner Omos was also there, greeting former TNA star and current WWE producer Petey Williams and Jeremy Borash.

Drake Maverick, the former Rockstar Spud, was also in attendance and while not shown during the show, he joined the rest of the crew at the top of the ramp.

Before coming out for his retirement speech, Styles was serenaded by a fantastic tribute video set to the song Higher by the popular band Creed, showcasing the best moments from his TNA and WWE career.
