Enzo Amore to defend Cruiserweight title on Raw

Enzo Amore, who got cleared to wrestle following his illness, will be defending the Cruiserweight title tomorrow night on Raw against Cedric Alexander. He returned to the ring during this weekend’s non-televised shows.

This match was supposed to take place last week but Enzo got taken to the hospital after falling ill. The champ checked out of the hospital before Raw in order to make the match but when he arrived backstage he was told that he’s not cleared to compete.

His absence last week also got him booted out of the Mixed Match Challenge series and was replaced by Apollo Crews. While the tournament starts on January 16, WWE taped a lot of material for the show on Monday and Tuesday and since Enzo was not there, he was swiftly replaced.
