After being pulled from the Sunday non-televised live event show, WWE Superstar Emma received more bad news today as her back injury will require surgery.

The Australian Emma is suffering from a ruptured disc in her back and the timing couldn’t be worse as she was just placed in an angle with her sidekick Dana Brooke against Becky Lynch. Emma undergoes surgery tomorrow.

“I’m pretty gutted about my injury, and of course, the timing! But all the love and support going into surgery Wednesday helps. Thanks,” she wrote on Twitter.

Emma has flip-flopped between the main roster and NXT for a while and finally found a gimmick that seemed to be working and was called back to the main roster this year.
