Elimination Chamber qualifying matches for WWE World Heavyweight title #1 contender start

12 WWE Superstars were announced for six Elimination Chamber qualifying matches which will take place over the next couple of television shows.

The winner of each qualifying match will then move on to participate in the Elimination Chamber match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight championship currently held by Drew McIntyre.

The 12 participating Superstars are Randy Orton, Bronson Reed, Kevin Owens, Logan Paul, AJ Styles, The Miz, Bobby Lashley, Ivar, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, Dominik Mysterio, and LA Knight.

Two of those qualifying matches took place on Smackdown last night, with Drew McIntyre defeating AJ Styles and Randy Orton defeating Sami Zayn.
