Edge off WWE TV with storyline knee injury

Edge will be off television for a while as WWE announced a storyline injury for the Rated-R Superstar, saying that he suffered a grade 2 MCL strain thanks to the attack of Judgment Day.

The WWE Hall of Famer was viciously attacked with a chair by Dominik Mysterio on Monday Night Raw and then Finn Balor hit the Coup de Grace on his knee to finish him off.

Edge, who has limited appearances on his current WWE contract, returned at SummerSlam after he was booted out of the faction he created following Hell In A Cell in early June.

The Canadian recently hinted at wanting to retire next year in Toronto.
