Duane Gill back on Raw as Gillberg two months after heart attack

Nearly two months after suffering a heart attack, Duane Gill, better known to fans as Gillberg, showed up on Monday Night Raw to reprise his spoof Goldberg gimmick.

The 61-year-old was in intensive care for a few days back in November but recovered nicely and you couldn’t tell what he went through from The Dirt Sheet segment last night.

“Man that was a ball! I mean you see now why I love it, this is everything to me. It’s my life, it really is, it’s my love,” Gill told WWE cameras after he finished his segment. “And that feeling that I get when I walk out there? It’s everything!”

Gill said that he wishes that at his age he could still have a full-time job in the wrestling business. “How can you not like doing that? It’s a blast and to make people laugh? That’s what I do best!”

Gill also put over Miz and Morrison as two of the biggest names in the business today and said they were so polite and kind to him.

The former WWE Light Heavyweight champion said that when he dies, he wants people to remember him as being nice to everyone and always with a smile on his face.
