Drew McIntyre tests positive for COVID-19

WWE champion Drew McIntyre has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been placed in quarantine according to WWE.

McIntyre was set to take on Randy Orton on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw but obviously that match will now not take place. The Scot is one of the biggest WWE names to get infected with the virus.

The champ is scheduled to take on Bill Goldberg at the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 31. It’s unclear if his positive test will affect the match, although it sure will affect the build-up. Typically, those who have the virus have to quarantine for 14 days but if McIntyre is suffering from symptoms, it might take longer for him to recover.
