Drew McIntyre out with neck injury

Following last night’s show, WWE issued an update on Drew McIntyre which said that the Scottish Warrior suffered a cervical neck strain with severe contusions.

McIntyre is really suffering from neck issues according to a story posted by PWInsider.com and he left the arena in a neck brace. The angle at Day 1 was done to explain why McIntyre will be off television for the next few weeks.

The former WWE champion will be undergoing further medical tests to determine to severity of the injury but his status at this point is unknown until full test results are received.

McIntyre soldiered on over the past few months despite the injury and ended 2021 with the most matches in WWE.
