NXT North American champion Dragon Lee will be missing tonight’s New Year’s Evil episode on USA Network as he had a visa issue and is stuck in Mexico.

“Sad news to kick off the year, but due to visa issues I am unable to leave Mexico right now,” Lee wrote on X.

Work visas have to be renewed at the United States embassy in the country of where the person is from so Lee had to go back home to get it approved and can’t travel back to the United States, or even work, until he physically has the passport with the visa stamped.

Lee was supposed to team up with Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro in a six-man tag team match against Drew Gulak, Damon Kemp, and Charlie Dempsey tonight. He also added that the LWO “has a big surprise” for No Quarter Catch Crew.
