Dominik Mysterio suffers nasty head wound after unprotected chair shot at AAA Rey de Reyes

AAA Mega champion Dominik Mysterio suffered a nasty gash on the top of his head after he was whacked with a steel chair by El Hijo Del Vikingo.

The unprotected chair shot opened Mysterio the hard way and his father Rey quipped on the English commentary track that maybe with the shot, Dom will now recognize him as his father.

The young Mysterio posted a photo of his nasty wound on Instagram after the match, writing just, “#ANDSTILL.”

Mysterio defeated Vikingo in the main event of night one of Rey de Reyes last night despite the intervention from Dorian and Omos. He won after he returned the favor to Vikingo with a chair shot, a 619, and a frog splash.

With Mysterio’s win, Vikingo cannot challenge for the AAA Mega title as long as the Judgment Day member remains champion. Had Mysterio lost, the stipulation was that he had to leave AAA.
