E! News has exclusively reported today that Daniel Bryan and WWE Diva Brie Bella are now engaged after Bryan popped the question on Wednesday during a hike in Big Sur, California.

“I have never in my life seen him so nervous. I’ve been by him when he’s gone out for WrestleMania and some really big things,” Brie told E!. “He got really, really nervous and he started talking about how long we’ve been together. He got down on one knee and compared our love. He said he’ll love me forever like the ocean goes on.”

Bryan said that he had the ring for a long time and was just trying to find the moment that’s “worthy of Brie.” She revealed that the ring is a 1.5 carat vintage European diamond purchased from Ken & Dana Design in new York.

Bryan flew out her whole family and surprised her for an engagement dinner, calling it the most special thing anyone has ever done for her. Obviously, cameras from Total Divas were filming the whole thing and it will be in one of the upcoming episodes of the show.

The two hope to set a wedding date between April and June of next year.
